Our Comments: This may be a chain, but they do brew their own beer (just not on the premises) and they have a full menu with plenty of tasty selections. Their regular beers are quite good and they have a rotating selection of seasonals capped off with their crown jewel the Grand Cru Tripel, which comes out around late-November/early-December each year (and disappears rather quickly). We prefer to support local, especially when it comes to craft beers. But if you have a BJ’s Brewhouse near you, it is worth stopping in to try some of their brews and their food as well.
